C.S.I. Parish, Dubai was formed on 2nd March 1975 by the Divine Providence of God Almighty, as initiated by certain loyal members of the Church of South India, with the kind permission of the local authorities and Rt. Rev. T. S. Joseph, then Bishop of Madhya Kerala Diocese. The valuable services of Late Rev. Philip Sturdy in the initial stages, has been a corner stone in the establishment of this Church under god's grace are fondly remembered. The official inauguration was held on 13th April 1975. The divine services was lead by Late Rev. V.E. Mathai, Vicar of Kuwait Parish as authorized by Rt. Rev. T.S. Joseph. The members hail from all four dioeses in Kerala.
Pastoral care was being provided by their Lordships Late Rt. Rev. T.S. Joseph, Rt. Rev. M.C. Mani, and Rt. Rev. Dr. Sam Mathew. Our first resident Vicar was Very Rev. M.T. Tharian succeeded by Rev. Eapen John, Very Rev. Joseph John, Rev. Chandy Jose, Rev. Mathew Varkey , Very Rev. M.E. John, Rev. Felix Mathew, Rev. C.Y. Thomas & Rev. Saji K Sam. Presently Rev. Varghese Philip is the Vicar of the parish. We recollect their valuable services rendered to this parish with gratitude.
From its humble beginning, the Church grew from the single entity status to supporting the spiritual needs with bilingual services in Abu Dhabi, AI Ain, Sharjah, Ras AI Khaimah and Fujairah. Today by the grace of God, we glad to note that three full time C.S.I. priests serving in U.A.E. The C.S.I. Parish Dubai, now prides itself as one of the leading Churches in C.S.I. by the abundant grace bestowed.
Regular services are conducted in the Holy Trinity Church. We were always committed and dedicated to support the various charity and missionary activities. Thanks to the unstringing support and dedication of all our members to build up the parish to its present growth. We give all thanks, praises and glory to our Lord Almighty for all the blessings.
