Previous Vicars

Pastoral care was being provided by their Lordships Late Rt. Rev. T.S. Joseph, Rt. Rev. M.C. Mani, and Rt. Rev. Dr. Sam Mathew. Our first resident Vicar was Very Rev. M.T. Tharian succeeded by Rev. Eapen John, Very Rev. Joseph John, Rev. Chandy Jose, Rev. Mathew Varkey , Late Very Rev. M.E. John, Rev. Felix Mathew, Rev. C.Y. Thomas, Rev. Saji K Sam, Rev. Varghese Philip and Rev. C. I. Jose. We recollect their valuable services rendered to this parish with gratitude.

History

C.S.I. Parish, Dubai was formed on 2nd March 1975 by the Divine Providence of God Almighty, as initiated by certain loyal members of the Church of South India, with the kind permission of the local authorities and Rt. Rev. T. S. Joseph, then Bishop of Madhya Kerala Diocese. The valuable services of Late Rev. Philip Sturdy in the initial stages, has been a corner stone in the establishment of this Church under god's grace are fondly remembered. The official inauguration was held on 13th April 1975. The divine services was lead by Late Rev. V.E. Mathai, Vicar of Kuwait Parish as authorized by Rt. Rev. T.S. Joseph.
