 ORGANISATIONS - SUNDAY SCHOOL |
The C S I Sunday School Dubai has been sowing the seed of Christianity in its younger members, since its inception in 1979. At our Sunday Classes, we aim at making Christian learning a fruitful experience for the children and one that they can relate to in their daily lives. With this objective in mind ,the Sunday School has chosen James: 4:10 as its theme for this year. It reads., “ Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up”.
On Friday evening at 6 PM our children gather at the John Laying hall at Trinity compound . They participate in praise and worship and learn from the word of God. Presently , 25 teachers attend to over 160 students, who are grouped according to their School grades.
Our Sunday School also boasts of a library, which stocks over 500 biblical books, for the enjoyment of the little ones. In addition to regular classes, we have a Talent competition in October , conducted by the C S I Church. Here the children are able to showcase their talent in Music, Elocution ,the Arts and Drama.
The Annual Christmas celebration at the Jebel Ali Church hall is a much awaited function, where the entire Sunday School participates and receives presents. From the Sunday School offertory fund , the children take pride in lending a helping hand to the needy in Dubai and India.
