The CSI Parish (Malayalam) Dubai celebrated its 50th parish day, during the worship service on Sunday, 13th April 2025, at the Holy Trinity Church, Oud Metha. The worship service commenced at 11 am with the hoisting of the CSI flag. Rev. Abraham G. Sathyanathan (Missionary, Shalom Mission, Mumbai) delivered the sermon. Rev. Raju Jacob, Vicar led the holy communion service. A special documentary featuring the highlights of the golden jubilee celebrations of the parish was shown towards the end of the service. It was followed by cutting of the jubilee cake and the attendees joining in lunch and fellowship. The 50th parish day service which also coincided with the Palm Sunday, was attended by three generations of parishioners.
The parish was formally inaugurated on 13th April 1975, by late Rev. V. E. Mathai (Vicar of CSI Parish Kuwait) who conducted the Holy Communion Service on that day, as directed by the late Rt. Rev. T. S. Joseph (Bishop of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese), becoming the first CSI Parish in UAE.
