The Choir Sunday Worship Service was conducted on Sunday, 20th September 2026.
Members of the Church Choir participated in various parts of the service. Rededication of the Choir members, and dedication of a new choir member was done at the beginning of the service.
Mr. Anish George delivered the sermon, based on the theme “Song of Restoration”. In his message, he mentioned that God can give a NEW SONG to a broken life (Psalm 100:1). Our failure is not too great for God's grace. Ashes remind us that something has been damaged, lost or burned. As it is written in the Bible, God can bestow, on us a crown of beauty instead of ashes…” (Isaiah 61:3). Before God tunes our voice, He wants to tune our HEART (Psalm 51:10). Healing may not always look the way we expected — but God can still work through our life (Mark 8:25). Our failures may not be the end of our life or faith, For we have a living God who can restore us and restart our life with a new beginning (Revelation 21:5). He concluded his message with the prayer "Let us submit our Ashes to him! Let us ask to change our heart. Jesus Touch Me Again. Lord restore me and renew me as new creation!". The text was written by Eliza Edmunds Hewitt (1851-1920). The tune (Crown of Righteousness or Stars in My Crown) was composed by John Robson Sweney (1837-1899). The song encourages us to become winners of souls by sharing the gospel message with others.
We thank God for our Church Choir and the Junior Choir and pray that their ministry may be a blessing for many in the days to come.
