The CSI UAE Youth Kalamela 2026, “Srishti” (സൃഷ്ടി), hosted by CSI Parish (Malayalam) Dubai, was held at Dubai Gem Private School on Saturday, 26 September 2026. Around 150 youth members representing the Abu Dhabi, Jebel Ali, Sharjah and Dubai parishes participated in the event, making it a vibrant gathering of talent, fellowship and faith.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Rev. Pramod John of All Saints CSI Parish, Jebel Ali; Rev. Biju Kunjummen of CSI Parish, Abu Dhabi; Rev. Jacob George of CSI Parish, Sharjah; and the host parish vicar, Rev. Arun G. George.
The programme commenced with an opening prayer led by Rev. Pramod John, followed by the presidential address by Rev. Biju Kunjummen and the welcome address by Mr. Ivin Koshy, CSI UAE Youth Secretary.
Inaugurating the event, Rev. Biju Kunjummen, President of the CSI UAE Youth Committee, reminded the gathering that we are called to come together in fellowship and present our God-given talents—not merely in a spirit of competition, but as a joyful celebration of the gifts with which God has blessed us.
CSI Parish (Malayalam) Dubai secured the highest overall points and emerged as the champion of Srishti 2026. CSI Parish, Sharjah, secured the second position, while All Saints CSI Parish, Jebel Ali, secured the third position. The overall results were determined by the prizes won across a variety of individual and group events, including singing, extempore, mono act, skit, quartet, instrumental music and group song.
The Kalamela was truly a joyful celebration of God-given talents, Christian fellowship and togetherness. The success of the event was made possible through the exemplary efforts of the Youth Movement Committee, led by Mr. Anoop John David, Kalamela Convenor, together with the wholehearted support, cooperation and active participation of the various organisations and members of the Dubai Parish.
It was indeed a proud and blessed moment for our church. We remain deeply grateful to God for His abundant grace and guidance, which enabled us to host the Kalamela successfully and make it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
