The Easter Sunday Service was held on the 17th April at 5 am. On Easter day, Christians all over the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus (on the third day) after his crucifixion.
Rev. Gibin Thampy (Bishop's Chaplain, CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese) delivered the sermon based on 1 Corinthians 15:14-15. Achen reminded the congregation that when the hope of man reaches its end, that is the point when God's time (work) starts. The resurrection of Christ is His victory over death through which we have hope for eternal life. This is the foundation of Christian hope.
The Holy Communion service was led by our Vicar, Rev. Shaji Jacob Thomas along with Gibin Achen.
Also, the day was special for the congregation, as this is the First Easter celebration after Sunday was declared as official weekend in the country.
