ഇന്ത്യക്കു സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ലഭിച്ചിട്ട് 75 വർഷം പൂർത്തിയാകുന്ന വേളയിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഇന്ന് ചെങ്കോട്ടയിൽ ദേശീയ പതാക ഉയർത്തി. 2023 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 15 വരെ നീളുന്ന ആഘോഷങ്ങളാണ് ഇതിനോടനുബന്ധിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയ ‘ആസാദി കാ അമൃത് മഹോത്സവ്’ എന്ന പരിപാടിയിലൂടെ വിഭാവനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
1947 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 15-ന് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിൽ നിന്ന് രാജ്യം സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം നേടിയതിൻറെ വാർഷികം ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ദേശീയ ഉത്സവമായി ഇന്ന് നാം ആഘോഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ, രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിനായി വീരമൃത്യു വരിച്ച ധീര ദേശാഭിമാനികളെ സ്മരിക്കുവാനും ആദരാഞ്ജലികൾ അർപ്പിക്കുവാനുമുള്ള ഒരു ദിവസമായും ഇത് മാറുന്നു.
“Nation First, Always First “ എന്ന കുറിവാക്യത്തിലൂടെ അമൃതോത്സവം ഇന്ന് രാജ്യം മുഴുവൻ ആഘോഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് രാജിൽ നിന്ന് നേടിയ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തെ ദേശസ്‌നേഹത്തിൻറെ നിറവിൽ ഒരുത്സവമായി രാജ്യം കൊണ്ടാടുന്നു. ഈ ആഘോഷത്തിൻറെ ഭാഗമായി ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 13 മുതൽ 15 വരെ "ഹർ ഘർ തിരംഗ" എന്ന പ്രചാരണത്തിലൂടെ 200 ദശലക്ഷം ത്രിവർണ പതാകകൾ രാജ്യത്ത് ഉയർത്തുവാനും, ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 11 മുതൽ 17 വരെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ വാരാചരണമായും ആഘോഷിക്കുവാൻ ഭരണകൂടം നമ്മെ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
ആയതുപോലെ ആംഗ്ലിക്കൻ സഭ, മെഥഡിസ്റ്റ് സഭ, പ്രെസ്‌ബിറ്റീരിയൻ സഭ, കോൺഗ്രിഗേഷണൽ സഭ എന്നിങ്ങനെ വ്യത്യസ്ത പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങളിലുള്ള ക്രൈസ്തവസഭകൾ 1947-ൽ ഒന്നുചേർന്ന് ചർച്ച് ഓഫ് സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യ (സി.എസ്.ഐ.) രൂപം കൊണ്ടതിന്റെ 75-ആം വാർഷികം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന വർഷം കൂടിയാണിത് എന്നുള്ളത് ഇതിനെ ഇരട്ടി മധുരം ഉള്ളതാക്കുന്നു.
ഈയവസരത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ ഐക്യതയും അഖണ്ഡതയും കാത്ത് സൂക്ഷിക്കും എന്ന പ്രതിജ്ഞയോടെ സി. എസ്. ഐ. പാരിഷ് (മലയാളം) ദുബായ് ഇടവകയും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിൻറെ ഈ അമൃത സ്മരണകൾ ആഘോഷമാക്കുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ മാതൃരാജ്യത്തെയും ഭരണകർത്താക്കളെയും ദൈവം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കട്ടെയെന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു. ജയ് ഹിന്ദ്
‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’
In commemoration of completing 75 years of India’s independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort today. The "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" initiative was launched in connection with this milestone, for celebrations till 15th August, 2023.
Today, as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of India getting independence from the British on 15th August 1947, with the slogan "Nation First, Always First", it also becomes a day to remember and pay tribute to the brave patriots who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. As part of this celebration, the government has called us to hoist 200 million tricolour flags in the country from 13th to 15th August through the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign and celebrate Independence Week from 11th to 17th August.
What makes this year even more special is that we are also celebrating the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Church of South India (CSI) in 1947, with churches of different traditions viz. the Anglican Church, the Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church and the Congregational Church joining together.
