Farewell to Rev. Harrison Chinnakumar, Chaplain of the Holy Trinity Church

Farewell to Rev. Harrison Chinnakumar, Chaplain of the Holy Trinity Church

Rev. Harrison Chinnakumar, the Chaplain of the Holy Trinity Church was given an official farewell by our Parish on 10th July, during the Sunday Holy Communion Service. Rev. Harrison had served as the Chaplain of the Holy Trinity Church Dubai for the last 5 years.

Rev. Shaji Jacob Thomas, Vicar of CSI Parish (Malayalam) Dubai, expressed his gratitude to Rev. Harrison for all the support extended to our Parish during his tenure. He also offered best wishes and prayers on behalf of the congregation, for Rev. Harrison's next assignment in Eindhoven. Kurian P. Thomas (Church Treasurer) presented the Memento of the Parish to Rev. Harrison. In his reply speech, Rev. Harrison recollected the excellent working relationship with the CSI Parish (Malayalam) Dubai congregation and his appreciation for the discipline of our Church Choir and Junior Choir.

Prior to the Farewell meeting, Harrison Achen had delivered the sermon and joined Shaji Achen in leading the Holy Communion Service. In his message, Rev. Harrison reminded us that we cannot choose our neighbor and that our eyes should always be open to see those in need around us, which is the mission of the Church. Being mere human beings, we cannot reciprocate God's unfathomable love for us but should respond to His love by loving our fellow beings.
